9 Seiten immer die gleiche Diskussion. Irgendwie wird das fade und hilft auch nicht mehr der Wahrheitsfindung.

Fakt ist:
Das Objektiv ist gut das wert, was es kostet, nämlich so ca. 40€
Bist du nicht bereit was teureres zu kaufen, dann blende zumindest ordentlich ab und bearbeite nach. Das Kit wird bei Blende 11 durchaus akzeptable Leistungen erbringt. Sonst ist es defekt.

Kurt Munger:

The 18mm corners are soft, and stopping down helps much, F/8 looks good, though the images are sharpest At F/11. Up towards 50mm, the corners respond nicely to a stop down at F/8, basically the same as the centers.

As stated earlier in the review, if you shoot in AUTO mode, this lens does a very good job in good light. In low light and manual modes it's fine, but for maximum sharpness you need to remember to stop down one or two stops to keep everything sharp, but don't worry about soft corners or centers in low light, you'll never notice the difference with a good shot.

Sinnlos erscheint, das Objektiv schönzureden oder zu verdammen. Sachgerechter Umgang innerhalb der vorhandenen Grenzen ermöglicht auch damit erstklassige Bilder. Zu meinen, dass so ein Objektiv in Lowlight offen gute Leistungen erbringt fällt ins Reich der Träume. Für einen realistischen VErgleich sind die Bilder bei Kurt Kunger immer ganz gut.

Und dann gibt es noch Stevemark:

While the center still displays an acceptable resolution (after all: it's a 50$ lens), the borders are just a mess. Certainly not a suitable lens for the 12MP alpha 700, and certainly not a suitable lens for 14MP alpha 350. Probably not the right stuff for the 10MP a200 / a300 as well.

If you intend to use it with a 6MP Minolta Dynax 7D or 5D, then, well, it may suitable.

Und Sony hat das wohl begriffen, deswegen geben sie das auch heute nicht mehr dazu. Wenn jemand sowas kauft ohne sich davor zu informieren, was für Leistungen und Grenzen das hat, darf sich halt danach nicht wundern.
