Der hohe Preis des Sony f2,8 24-70mm GM wurde in diesem Thread kritisiert. Steht dem Preis auch eine entsprechende Leistung gegenüber? Liest man den Test von ePhotozine, dann scheint das so zu sein. Für mehr Geld gibt es also noch mehr Leistung (und noch größere Filterdurchmesser ):

Canon produce the EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L II USM (£1459), Nikon the 24-70mm f/2.8 G AF-S ED VR (£1849) and Pentax the HD Pentax-D FA 24-70mm f/2.8 (£1149). All of these are great lenses for their respective marques, but the Sony does seem to out-perform them all. ...

Wie die Messungen zeigen, ist das Objektiv bei 24 und 50mm schon bis in die Ecken knackscharf. Bei 70mm muss es dafür aber abgeblendet werden. Nicht ganz so rühmlich schlägt es sich bei den CAs jenseits des Bildzentrums.

Kurz zusammengefasst dürfte es wohl das beste 2,8/24-70 sein, das auf dem Markt ist.
