"I can't agree that the focus of the A7RV is better than the A1. It is certainly 'wiser' and can detect a broader range of subjects and the whole human figure rather than just a face and eye, but the A1 is much faster focusing with more reliable focus tracking. I shoot action sports and can only really recommend the use of cameras with the stacked sensors (A9, A9II and A1) if this is the primary genre. Very few reviewers shoot rapidly moving subjects and many viewers have no idea how to set up a camera to shoot action sports, so making wild claims is possible, unless of course you have actually used an A1 and A7RV to shoot action sports. I took it to a MotoGP to capture rapidly moving vehicles - I am not aware of any other reviews who tested the camera in this manner. Someone running around waving their arms about is not action/sports (by any stretch of the imagination)."
