zuppelt hin und bleibt dann aber dran
Wobei ich denen, die den Adapter gerade nicht richtig nutzen können natürlich eine schnelle FW Version 4 wünsche ...

@tuebox: Der LA-EA4r hat gegenüber dem LA-EA5 den Vorteil der definierten (flexiblen) Spot-Nutzung. Mit dem LA-EA5 wäre das Bild (auch mit A6600 oder A7RIV) nicht so einfach zu machen.

Das war einer der letzten Bilder mit der Firmware V02, das 500F8 hat an der A7RIV sehr gut mitgespielt.
Mit Firmware V03 ist mein Monster Adapter bis jetzt leider nicht mehr zu gebrauchen, schade....

Hm, mal eine Frage am Rande und in die Runde: ist das eigentlich ein Problem, dass sich nur auf eine bestimmte Kamera oer Kameramodell bezieht, oder funktioniert der Adapter dann an allen Kameras/Kameramodellen nicht mehr?

bei mir ist es die A9 mit Firmware 6.0 und eine A7RIV mit Firmware 1.2 wo der Monster Adapter mit der Firmware 03 unbenutzbar ist.

Bei mir funktioniert der Monster-Adapter mit Firmware 3 sowohl an der A7II als auch A7III problemlos. Also liegt es entweder an der Kombination mit bestimmten Kameras oder evtl. auch an verschiedenen LA-EA4 Versionen?

Bin trotzdem auf den V4 gespannt.

Laut Post auf der facebook-Seite von Monster-Adapter verzögert sich die V04 etwas, weil das Team mit der Beschaffung von Bestandteilen für den Pentax-Adapter ausgelastet war.
Aber das FW-update ist in Arbeit.

Hi, everyone,

We finally have survived and seen off the year 2020 and at the beginning of the brand new 2021 the MonsterAdapter team is wishing peace, love, happiness and success to be around us all the time.

Firstly, we are sorry to inform that we have to delay the launch of the Pentax-Sony E LA-KE1 adapter, which was scheduled around the new year's day, because of the chip's supply shortage and price rise. The good news is we have had the procurement of chips done and nothing needs to be worried now.

We are working hard and we will keep working during the new year vacation. Hopefully the LA-KE1's launch will happen in February.

And, because we are a very small team, the development of LA-EA4r's v04 firmware also has been affected as we have to put most of our efforts in dealing with the chip suppliers and negotiating about the price.

The main improvement of the v04 firmware is to solve the AF problems of the a7r4 after it is updated to 1.2 firmware, meanwhile, we are trying to further optimize the AF speed of some lenses (for those lenses already being optimized by previous firmware the speed improvement may not feel very obvious). Of course we are adding more lenses for support and the v04 firmware is now being tested with them. It will be issued soon after we finish all the necessary testing.

And in the end, YES, we will launch more exciting products in 2021, the first of which will be unveiled very soon. Keep tuned guys!
