Hallo, Gustav,
das schaut sehr gut aus! :top:

Fine picture, congratulations!
But why did you use the slow shutter time 1/50 sec, ISO 200 with a 300mm lens?
Were you very careful and tried to use ISO as low as possible due to unknown picture quality at higher ISOs with the new camera?

yes that is right
i alway`s try to take picture`s on 200 ISO , all the camera`s of sony has calebration on 200 ISO , so that is the best ISO for taking picture`s , i have also very-sharp picture`s on 1/15
second , this A77 is a pre-production camera , so not final
thanks for your comment

Gustav, I have a urgent request...
PLEASE take your next photo with a little, small, cheap camera...absolutely unnecessary which one but one of the Sony cameras.
I BET that you also can take a wonderful photo with a small cam instead of a big cam and EVERYBODY who is frightened that an A77 could be not enough (because not good enough) sees that it is mostly only the photographer who makes good pictures!
There are so many crying men in the board who panic because someone important left the Sony-Line and goes to Nikon... when I watch this picture I think it was soooo ridiculus to panic about the A77 and their negative Descriptions... this photo shows that very good pictures are possible...and surely with a smaller cam, too.
The only difference between a good and a bad photo lies in talent, a good view, good work before the photo is taken and in handling the camera the right way, NOT in having the most high tech.
Hallo; Dana,
:top:
Vielen Dank und LG
Matthias

Gustav,
I've found your thread at Dyxum website with even more of your beautiful pictures with A77.
I think these shine even more than your photos with older cameras. They are more bright and colorful, a bit more presence of the kingfisher as well. I think this is a camera that many of us will like a lot.
Did you use flash or is this all made with natural light?

hi slowlens , i just want to post this link on this forum , thanks for that
what i think , if you compare the A700 with the A77 , is that you have more detail , so you`r right
all the picture`s are taken with natural light , and with the SAL70-400 & SAL 300MM 2.8
the EXIF is in all the picture`s , if you have more questions , please ask me
greetings
