Hab mir nämlich die A55 als Ablösung für meine D7D bestellt und mein Immerdrauf ist ein Sigma 2,8/24-70, das unglaublicherweise mein bestes und schärfstes Objektiv ist.

Wenn ich das nicht nutzen könnte, wäre die Bestellung so gut wie storniert.

...oder du verkaufst dein Sigma und legst dir ein Zeiss 24-70/2.8 zu.

Imaging-resource hatte wohl Probleme mit dem Sigma 70/2.8 Makro,

The problem is one we encountered in our own lab testing of the Sony Alpha SLT-series cameras, in concert with the Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro lens, and appears to relate to a miscommunication between camera body and lens. (In our case, the same lens worked correctly on a traditional Sony DSLR body.). Sigma states that the lens aperture may not work properly, and possibly result in a "camera error" message being displayed on the SLT-series body. In our lab, we occasionally found that upon completion of an exposure, the 70mm lens' aperture would remain stopped down. On the subsequent shot, the lens would then incorrectly stop down even further from its previous position, resulting in an underexposed image. Pressing the Depth-of-Field Preview button a few times would generally clear the issue, perhaps providing a workaround for photographers occasionally wanting to use an older Sigma lens with an SLT-series camera, although there's obviously no guarantee that this behavior wasn't specific to our combination of lens and body.

Na ja, das dachte ich mich auch. Aber da liegen halt noch immer 1600€ dazwischen. Und wie bekannt, Ecken unscharf und manchmal dezentiert. Da vielleicht besser das Tamron. Nur 300 € und relativ sicher dezentriert ;-)) Aber okay, mit Garantie kein Problem. Und die haben Lizenzen.

gut möglich - das ist einfach Sigmas schlechte Politik, schon seit Jahren bekannt.
Mein Rat: Lass die Finger davon, außer du liebst das Risikospiel und es ist Dir angesichts von möglicher Geldersparnis wert.

Nee Danke, auch wenns unglaublich klingt: Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, damit optisch was zu gewinnen. Vom finanziellen Verlust mal abgesehen…

Interessanter Workaround für A33/A55:

If you slide the body AF/MF switch to MF. mount the Sigma lens, and then slide the body switch to AF the Sigma lens stops down and autofocuses properly. With my fast and old Sigma 75-200mm the lens works properly on an A700, but the lens rarely initializes the aperture properly if I mount it on the A33 with the body AF switch in AF.

As I-R pointed out, when the aperture does not engage the aperture remains stopped down, and in my 5-pin lens you can't AF and the aperture is reported incorrectly. Apparently with the current 8-pin interface the Sigma behaves a little differently. When I slide the body switch to MF before mounting the Sigma, then switch to AF the Sigma lens initializes aperture and focus properly and it has continued to work until I turn off the A33.

This in fact may be a Sigma mechanical problem with their A-mount copy and not a chip issue. If so Sigma is being disingenuous in saying they can't fix older lenses. They probably just don't want that expense. OR perhaps it is a combination of a mechanical issue and the lens firmware chip.

Genau das ist mir mit meinem 70er Macro mal passiert. Und gerade dieses ist bei imaging-resource negativ aufgefallen... Zufall??

Wir wollten in ca ner Stunde mal ein paar Sigma Linsen an die A33 schrauben.

Soll ich nun angst haben das wir sie nichtmehr runter bekommen oder sollen wir es wagen? ^^

Hab ehrlich gesagt keine Lust das die Linsen auf der Kamera hängen und wir hier eine Bridgecam haben bei der das Rückteil aidualk und das Objektiv mir gehört ^^

Bei den Objektivdeckel war es ein Problem der Toleranzen, da bekam man es es durch vorsichtig drücken und schieben wieder runter. Denke, dass das auch mit einem Gehäuse klappt.

Aidulk hat sich eh als Tester zur Verfügung gestellt und die A33 ist ja eigentlich eher ein Nachfolger der A2 und wäre damit als Bridgekamera eh ganz gut. Du solltest nur mit einem Universalzoom anfangen, damit die Brennweite passt, falls du nicht mehr runterbekommst ;-))
