Ich bin dermaßen auf diesen OLED-Sucher gespannt.

Die Vorfreude steigt noch viel mehr, wenn man weiß zu was diese Technik in der Lage ist und sie auch schon selbst erleben durfte:

Ich war bisher von allen OLED-Displays eher enttäuscht, da die Farben meist vollkommen übersättigt waren. Aber vielleicht haben sie das endlich in den Griff bekommen.

Man kann die Displays auch einstellen
LG´s EL9500 bietet z.B. entsprechende Kalibrierungstools - siehe auch den Test von flatpanels.dk - die Farben sind perfekt!

Auf Messen wird immer alles exterm übersättigt gezeigt. Show-Effekt halt...

Laut gut unterrichteteten Kreisen (jemand, der die Kamera bereits hat) kann sie Kontrast-Peaking aber kein CDAF. Also insofern ein Rückschritt zur A580 und mir völlig unverständlich.

CDAF (Contrast Detect Autofocus) is used when there is no SLR mirror present, which would include LiveView on any camera (using the back LCD), or an Electronic Viewfinder (ie, on Micro Four-Thirds cameras). Otherwise, PDAF (Phase Detect Autofocus) is used on an SLR with a mirror, shooting through the viewfinder. Phase Detect requires a separate sensor under the mirror, while CDAF reads off of the actual imaging sensor.

This is an autofocus system in which contrast values of adjacent pixels on the image sensor are measured until the accurate focus position is found with the greatest degree of contrast. The camera lens projects the image onto the image sensor, the camera processes the contrast information from the image and then activates the auto focus motor to move the lens to the focus position.

COOLPIX cameras use this type of autofocus as does Live View mode which is found in certain DSLR cameras. The principles for contrast detection are the same for both digital compact and DLR cameras however the control systems are designed differently to take full advantage of the focus systems for each camera.

Contrast detection needs a high contrast subject to find the focus point, cameras are designed with high sensitivity to find the focus point in lower light situations. As most zoom lenses transmit more light at the wideangle-end than the tele-end then focus may be slightly slower in low light conditions at telephoto.

Auf gut deutsch: Die Kamera berechnet die Kontrastwerte benachbarter Sensorpixel, und fokussiert, bis der Kontrastunterschied am höchsten ist. Dann ist scharfgestellt, denn bei Unschärfe verschwimmt ja das Bild und die Kontraste benachbarter Pixel sind annähernd gleich. Hoher Kontrastunterschied = richtig fokussiert...

... und worin liegt der Unterschied zwischen CDAF und Kontrast-Peaking?
Beide AF Arten arbeiten doch als Kontrast AF - ODER?
