ich bin bei dpreview über folgende interessante Aussage zum Thema Hot Pixel gestolpert.

The A2 maps out hot pixels once a month. If your camera is otherwise up to spec, you may not want to run the risk of exchanging it for a lemon. In that case, changing the date forward by more than one month and rebooting the camera will force a pixel remapping. Your hot pixel should be gone (the camera is actually interpolating the information from neighboring pixels to figure out what color it should be).

Danach hätte die A2 quasi "Selbstheilungskräfte" , allerdings habe ich nirgends etwas gefunden, was diese Aussage bestätigen würde.
Stimmt das wirklich oder ist es reines Wunschdenken?

Acj ja: Ich möchte wirklich keine Diskussion zum Thema "Wie schlimm sind Hotpixel..." lostreten, das muss wirklich jeder selbst entscheiden. Mich interessiert nur, ob Ihr von diesem Feature schon mal gehört habt und ob's das wirklich gibt. Wäre ja eigentlich recht .... Selbst ausprobieren kann ich es mangels ernsthafter Hotpixel "leider" nicht.
