Some of you might be aware that I am endorsing Sony alongside Justin Timberlake and Peyton Manning in an upcoming ad campaign launching in October. And although in endorsement deals you get paid to say things the fact of the matter is the new SONY A900 DSLR is the best digital SLR camera I have ever shot with for a number of reasons. Other than the fact it holds well, is weighted perfectly and has a range of Zeiss lenses, the actual 25 Mega Pixel files are gorgeous. The color reproduction blows the competition out of the water and the way the pixels are organized replicates a high res transparency that’s been scanned in rather than a digital file - stunning! I actually replaced all my DSLRs and lenses for a full Sony kit. Below are a selection of shots taken in the last few weeks with the new A900. If you are looking to buy a DSLR system seriously consider the A900 and if you are already committed to another brand, all I can do is offer my sympathy……. Of course a good camera doesn’t make you a good photographer but in this day and age of 1000s of new digital cameras it certainly helps to have the inside scoop.
