Solved - Wired Remote Trigger for Sony A7C II
I wanted to share a solution that others may have encountered when trying to perform wired remote triggering on the Sony A7C II.
I recently purchased the A7C II as a secondary body to go alongside my A7 IV and hadn't considered the lack of the Sony Multi Terminal Port. I use both MIOPS and Syrp hardware for timelapse and motion control, but the cables provided by those manufacturers are 2.5mm Male to Sony Multi so will not work with the A7C II.
I figured it should be easily possible since I can trigger the video record function on the Sony A7C II through a USB-C to USB-C cable on my Ronin.
Manfrotto/Sryp offers an adapter cable that allows you to use a 2.5mm Male to 2.5mm Male cable, that I assume will also work, but it's $30. I've ordered that one just to test.
I tested several 2.5mm Male to USB-C cables and finally found one that works. This one does the trick for both my MIOPS and Syrp gear for under $8.
Hope this helps others trying to solve the same problem.

Wenn es wirklich geht, dann sind Pins der USB-C-Schnittstelle "doppelt belegt".
Da die a7C II nahe verwandt ist wäre es einen Versuch wert. Wer traut sich?
