Michael, das Ganze ist de facto ein verankertes Tauchboot, das Propeller in die Strömung taucht. Eine dieser Turbinen hat ungefähr die Leistung einer Windturbine.
Ich kann mir beim besten Willen nicht vorstellen, dass der Wartungsaufwand (Hydraulik zum Hochschwenken im Seewasser
den Ertrag lohnt. Das Ding wiegt 680 Tonnen - der Materialaufwand muss auch erst mal wieder reinkommen.
Nette Idee - aber aller Voraussicht nach nicht praktikabel trotz der Jubelarien.

“ Die riesige gelbe Turbine soll 2.000 Haushalte mit sauberem Strom versorgen können.”
Das Ganze ist eine Subventionsleiche aus EU-Geldern.
