„It's essentially the same sensor so readout speed and dynamic range will be the same. When the news that the RV was going to be using the same sensor as the RIV I saw a forum on SAR where users said the focus would not be improved if the readout sensor was the same - which is why I was keen to take the camera to shoot the fastest things on two wheels and then post ultra high resolution images. Sensor readout speed makes a difference in Silent Shooting mode (using the electronic shutter) but I am not sure how it contributes to focus performance when shooting with a mechanical shutter. Rolling shutter when shooting movies may be a factor if you are using an RV to shoot action sports. I am not sure why camera reviewers swing the camera around to showcase rolling shutter when they are not filming action/sports. The only time I see cameras moving rapidly when shooting movies is in the hands of a sports videographer.“
