Ist das eine Vermutung oder gibt es dafür einen "begründeten Verdacht" oder sogar eine Erläuterung/Beschreibung von Sony?

"My understanding (and I am prepared to stand corrected) is that PDAF is used to help speed up CDAF in AF-C but CDAF is not used in AF-C unless the aperture is smaller than the minimum supported by the Mid, Hi and Hi+ drive modes. f/8 on the A7RIIl, f/11 on most recent alpha cameras and f/16 or f/22 on the cameras that have stacked sensors (A9, A9ll and A1). When the aperture is smaller than that supported by PDAF you can get an unusual hunting backwards and forwards as the camera struggles to find an edge to lock onto."
