i have recognized the Google Transfer function . I believe it is a German speaking forum. The Mods should clarify this.

My opinion is, that 135mm is a difficult lense for portrait. It is 50mm longer as the typical 85mm. That means you will get only a little detail from the same picture. Slightly further away you will lose details of a person.

But all in all the lense is a great lense and with the a850 a great combiination.
The reason is that i moved to Germany
You know it depends, i had 85mm before and switched to 135mm. 85mm is also great, it weights less and smaller, but something is really magical in 135mm. And if you find out how it works, i mean, how to use advantages and avoid disadvantages, you will get almost 100% of stunning photos from it. So its my favorite lens and especially with A850 its the best portrait combo imho.
But i understand what you mean, i would have both if my wife didnt look at me like that:
when i said, that i need more lenses
