Die Kaufentscheidung fiel schweren herzens (PREIS!!) zu Gunsten des Minolta Blitzes. Aber was hilft der günstigste Blitz, wenn er nicht kompatibel ist :flop:

2. Es ist leider so mit dem Sigma, wie Du es beschrieben hast. Ich habe den Sigma auch, auf der Z5 meiner Freundin das gleiche Theater.

Wie sieht es aus mit wireless? Funktioniert der Sigma Blitz dan richtig bei der D5D/D7D?

Hattest du den Blitz in die Kurzzeitblitzsynchronisation (HSS) geschaltet? Sonst blitzt er Full-Power und alles ist überbelichtet.

Aber davon abgesehen funktioniert der Sigma an der D5D/D7D nicht so einwandfrei wie an der A2. Also (derzeit): Finger weg.

der Blitz war auf HSS geschaltet, geholfen hat es nicht.

Zur Frage von Force_Legato: Wireless habe ich dann erst gar nicht ausprobiert.

Ich kann nur Jedem empfehlen den Blitz mit seiner Kamera im Geschäft auszuprobieren :!:

In Program mode and Aperture Priority mode the flash exposed correctly without any compensation at all (in fact, adding flash compensation didn't seem to have any effect on the exposure). In Manual mode (which I am used to used to using with my Canon stuff) the flash continued to underexpose. Also, my cheapo Sigma lens ($80.00 new with camera) definately showed some satisfactory improvement in sharpness. It is bright, sunny and 17 F. out today so I'll get to test the lens out further.
I am now a happy camper (think I'm going to love the 7D).

Im gleichen Forum schreibt einer:

model name and number, while not all camera models
are supported by different generations. Sigma will
not upgrade old flashguns, like some manufacturers

As ph0t0man says you have to watch for serial number, my
flashes that work with A2 for example (not fully) do
_not_ work at all with 7D (flash firing at full power is
not useful to me), serial number starts with 4.

Of course they make excellent slave flash units, but

Das passt zu meiner Überlegung, warum Sigma die Kompatibilitätsliste geändert und die Dimage A2 herausgestrichen hatte.
