Hallo zusammen,
wenn ich in der galerie hochladen moechte, dann ist der upload button bei mir nicht aufrufbar, ausgegraut. Woran kann das liegen?

Bin auf OSX6.3 und safari.
Ansonsten, ich kenne mich noch nicht besonders mit jpeg optimierung aus. Ich drucke hauptsaechlich in Grossformat von A2 bis 1.50 breit auf Epson. Meine bevorzugten Papiere sind Hahnemuehle bamboo, obwohl viel Arbeit und photorag sowie baryta.
Ueberlege zur Zeit ob ich meine Alpha Ausruestung verkaufen soll oder dabei bleibe.

wow, sind das Farben, sind diese in natura wirklich so leuchtend bunt, habe ich noch nie gesehen, allerdings bin ich auch noch nie an einem solchen Ort gewesen.
Auf jeden Fall ein tolles Motiv und gut gesehen mit schöner Raumaufteilung, könnte ich mir gut als Poster vorstellen mit dem Potential Fernweh hervorzurufen,

edit: warum willst du deine Ausrüstung wechseln, was versprichst du dir von einer neuen Cam bzw. was vermisst du bei deiner bisherigen?

Ja, das sieht so aus wenn das letzte Sonnenlicht vom Atlantik auf den Felsen reflektiert. Ich hab das auf 50"x60" Hahnemuehle Bamboo 290gms gedruckt, 5 mal beschichtet und dann mit einem Halbe Rahmen veredelt. Sieht wirklich sehr beeindruckend aus und braucht auch diese Groesse um das 'Drama' rueberzubringen.
Ich ueberlege ggfs. dieses Jahr auf ein Cambo System einzusteigen, bin mir da aber noch nicht schluessig.
Zu meckern hab ich wenig ueber die alpha/zeiss combi, tolles system.

Ich hab noch nicht rausgefunden wie ich den link eintrage so, dass das Bild wie andere auf schwarzem Hintergrund aufgemacht wird. Hat jemand einen Tip?

Description:
I was hiking with 30 kilogram of landscape photography gear on my back on Arranmore Island in 2009 and waited until the late sunlight lit up the colors in rocks that were formed several hundred millions years ago. While I was waiting for the light, I walked around and approached a cliff that can not be seen from a normal point of view, only by standing right on the edge and extending your arm with the camera out you can 'see' this hidden bay. From the boat you can not see it either because a massive rock blocks this view. While walking along and balancing on the cliffs edge I held out my arm and took shots shots, and in one of them this scene here emerged. When I looked at it on the display, I started laughing out loud for joy.
This was what I had hoped for in deed. The unspoiled, rugged and majestic heart of Ireland's postglacial land- and seascapes is what I am after and here all of the sudden I was given a scene of breathtaking beauty.
If someone would have seen the following events, they would have called an ambulance, worrying about a chap, who performed a surreal dance on the edge of the cliffs.
There was no other way to shoot this but to extend my arm over the cliff, with an expensive piece of gear in my hand and the fear of nothing but air and several hundred feet straight down onto the rocks and off she would go into the atlantic, trust me, this is not for the faint hearted.
Big atlantic seagulls circled over my head coming ever closer to my position when they started to attack me in turns aiming for my head. So the dance started!
Armed with another camera in my left hand poking at the attacking gulls to protect my head, and once she was chased away, trying to concentrate on the shot, while gauging when the next wave will shoot down in an angel of attack on me. Trying to ignore the strong 'elevator' feeling in my stomach and sub consequent fear to loose footing, and not only a couple of expensive cameras, I continued this dance of defending myself against the gulls and trying to shoot the scene for more than 2o minutes and took over 100 pictures to be able to get this one particular shot.
The result is one of my favorite scenes that I shot in the past 5 years. It is this wild and rugged post glacial beauty that I fell in love with from day one, and is the main reason why I settled here. To me this is Eldorado for landscape photography, and a life time is not enough to see it all
