Um den Überblick über meine Bilder zu behalten, auch auf CD/DVD, bevorzuge ich das Freware-Programm Vallen jpegger http://www.vallen.de/freeware/.

Besonders genial ist, dass er Indexdateien anlegt und die Übersichten nicht jedesmal neu erstellt, wenn man das Directory wechselt - ähnlich eben wie PaintshopPro. Dabei ist er auch besonders schnell beim Einlesen. Man kann auch sehr einfach Autostart-CDs erstellen. Unbedingt ausprobieren!!!
