Das sogenannte Medium-Raw (war übrigens schon auf Seite 2 des Threads meine Frage) gibt es bei Nikon u.a. - mache mal 200-300 Aufnahmen, die du später stacken willst... u.a. bei Nacht. Da brauchst du keine 42mpx, aber dafür eben auch keine extra Kamera. Es ist ein extremer Unterschied, ob dein PC/Mac 24h oder 6h das alles zusammen rechnet. Ich verstehe nicht, warum Sony darauf verzichtet. Die D850 hat es und für mich das einzig fehlende Merkmal bei Sony. Sonst hat die Kamera wohl nur ein "Griff-Problem" erhalten. Schade. Ich halte sie für sonst nahezu "perfekt". Stattdessen wird hier nur wieder seitenlang über Preise, Akkugrößen (was kompletter Hohn ist...) usw. diskutiert

200-300 Aufnahmen stacken ist nicht gerade der normale Use einer Kamera, und Small und Medium Raw haben durchaus auch Nachteile ...

If you look at the buffer table of the Nikon D810, you will realize that while the sRAW format produces files that are roughly twice smaller in size than full uncompressed 12-bit RAW files. However, despite the smaller file size, the buffer speed is actually worse in comparison. In full resolution the D810 can shoot 34 frames before the buffer fills up, while shooting in sRAW only yields 18! In this particular case, sRAW seems to be twice smaller in comparison. This has to do with the heavy load the sRAW file puts on Nikon’s EXPEED processor. In addition, with Nikon sRAW using frame buffer for processing raw into sRAW, battery life is also negatively impacted.
